Through Pennsylvania’s Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, you can help local preschoolers and children in K-12 schools prepare for their future. The Learning Lamp accepts PKSO, EIO, SO, and OS EITC contributions. Your donation supports local children attending preschool and K-12 private schools, and funds interactive, engaging school and community workshops for children across the area.
The PKSO EITC donation offers businesses the best value with 100% credit for the first $10,000 donated and a 90% credit for gifts above that threshold. Through EITC, you can put your tax dollars to work in your own community!

Businesses:
Companies doing business in PA who are subject to the following taxes can participate:
Corporate Net Income Tax
Capital Stock/Foreign Franchise Tax
Malt Beverage Tax
Capital Stock Franchise Tax
Personal Income Tax of S Corporation shareholders, or partners in a limited or general partnership
Bank and Trust company shares
Insurance Premiums Tax
Mutal Thrifts Institutions Tax
Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax
Retaliatory Fees under section 212 of the Insurance Company Law of 1921
Individual Taxpayers Qualify Too! Through the Special Purpose Entities category, individuals can now enjoy the same tax benefits as corporations. This program allows individuals to donate to the EITC program. To qualify, someone in your household must own a small business or work for a for-profit business. When you commit to a two-year donation you will receive a 90% tax credit for your donation, if you donate for one year, you will receive a 75% tax credit. The Central PA Scholarship Fund processes your gift and passes it through to The Learning Lamp, if you select us on your form.
