MEET AMBER AND HER SON, OLIVER

Amber is a single mom, a full-time early childhood educator, and a college student working hard to build a brighter future for her family. Her 4-year-old son, Oliver, is thriving in a classroom just down the hall—thanks to generous donors like you who help make quality care affordable.

As the Lead Teacher in a toddler classroom, Amber spends her days nurturing young learners and helping shape their earliest experiences. With tuition assistance from Pennsylvania’s TEACH Early Childhood® Program and ongoing support from community donors, she’s also earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and working toward her associate degree in early childhood education. Achieving this degree will open doors that change the trajectory of her career and her family’s life.

“I’ve always wanted to be a teacher,” Amber shares. “Here, I can work, go to school, and have my son in quality care all in one place. I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support I have here.”
