Posted on July 27, 2020

Johnstown, PA (July 27, 2020) – Let’s face it, with shut-downs, layoffs and cutbacks due to COVID-19, we can all benefit from saving money. The EcoKids All-Season Children’s Consignment Sale is a great way to stock up on those much-needed items for your growing kids! The first all-season sale will open its doors to area families beginning Wednesday, August 5 through Saturday, August 8 at The Johnstown Galleria – lower level near the former Bonton store. This semi-annual specialty consignment sale accepts only high quality, gently used kid’s apparel, boots and shoes, toys, books, furniture, baby equipment, outerwear, holiday wear, Halloween costumes and much more!

EcoKids Children’s Consignment Sale is a unique shopping experience for families – one that caters to those who are as style-conscious as they are budget-conscious. “EcoKids is the savvy way to outfit stylish kids on a budget,” said Kerri Belardi, director of communications at The Learning Lamp. “We have the clothes and brands that your kids want at prices you are going to love!”

EcoKids Children’s Consignment Sale is open to the public on Wednesday, August 5, Thursday, August 6 and Friday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Saturday only, all items are 50 percent off the marked price – no exceptions. The sale takes place at the Johnstown Galleria on the lower level near the former BonTon store.

Proceeds from this sale go to support The Learning Lamp’s free After School Outreach Programs in Johnstown’s Moxham, Oakhurst and Coopersdale neighborhoods. This program provides students with a quality after school program where they receive homework help, a healthy meal and participate in character-building activities.
