Students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program may request tuition assistance to attend our summer programs.
Families who do not qualify for free or reduced lunch but still need help may request tuition assistance by writing a letter explaining the circumstances.
We participate in Pennsylvania’s child care subsidy program. This program helps eligible families pay for child care. Child care subsidy is available for families attending our licensed child care centers, after school and summer camp programs. Since there may be a waiting list for subsidy, we strongly encourage families to contact their local Early Learning Resource Center (formerly CCIS) as soon as they know they will need child care.

Laura has been working in childcare for almost 15 years, so it was a natural fit when she joined The Learning Lamp in June 2022. “I have had the opportunity to create my dream classroom that is a fun, yet educational atmosphere,” said Strauch. “Every day I learn something new about myself and how I can best teach each child in my care.” She is also adamant about passing on the knowledge she has learned to younger childcare workers at her center. “I recently finished my training to be a coach for the pre-apprenticeship program, and I’m very excited to be a part of it,” said Strauch. “I hope that sharing my experiences will benefit others!
