Our summer camp program for school-age children offers up to 12 weeks of themed camps geared to a wide variety of interests. Enroll your child now for our 2022 summer camps!
Weekly day camps are in session Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Children are asked to bring a packed lunch, sunscreen and a water bottle. Children should also wear sneakers.
Options to Meet Your Needs
Our program is flexible to meet the needs of your family. For example, families can:
Enroll for all 12 weeks, or just select the weeks that interest their children
Enroll for camp only or add before and after care
Choose the site that is most convenient for them. In 2022, camps will be offered in Connellsville, Ebensburg, Northern Cambria, Richland, Somerset and Westmont.

Laura has been working in childcare for almost 15 years, so it was a natural fit when she joined The Learning Lamp in June 2022. “I have had the opportunity to create my dream classroom that is a fun, yet educational atmosphere,” said Strauch. “Every day I learn something new about myself and how I can best teach each child in my care.” She is also adamant about passing on the knowledge she has learned to younger childcare workers at her center. “I recently finished my training to be a coach for the pre-apprenticeship program, and I’m very excited to be a part of it,” said Strauch. “I hope that sharing my experiences will benefit others!
